Tarabrae Lechenaultia aka Lexie, was born a preemie at only 300 days gestation and needed help by her breeder, at Tarabrae Highland Ponies, in the first days of her life to survive. Lexie is only a little mare, but she is very sweet and affectionate.
Lexie was a star pony, for HPA at Equitana, Melbourne 2016. She was also used as a display pony for an educational talk by Dr Huntington, on equine nutrition. Lexie was finished being backed in 2018.
Lexie has spent the past 2 years being used as a kid’s riding pony, for our eldest daughter but after sustaining a paddock injury has been retired to broodmare duties for the for the next year.
